Role Description

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will serve as the primary contact for our production teams, including Warehouse, SMT, PTH, and Module Assembly, to address quality-related matters. When the production team identifies a quality concern such as improper soldering of a componentyou will investigate the issue, determine the root cause, and lead containment efforts to ensure no defective products are sent to customers. Collaborating with production and engineering teams, you will initiate corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis tools like the Ishikawa diagram. You will resolve issues systematically and efficiently.

Using data from tests and inspections, you will identify and propose process or resource improvements and work with your colleagues to implement these changes, positively impacting the quality performance across production.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Management.
  • 3- 6 years of experience in a similar Quality role from EMS Background.
  • Proficiency in Quality Auditing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing and production processes.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Implementing quality methods such as Control Plans, FMEA, etc.
