About the Opportunity :

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with deep technical expertise in Plant Maintenance (PM) module development and integration.

The ideal candidate should have strong command over ABAP programming, OData services, and SAP system debugging.

This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining custom SAP solutions while collaborating closely with functional and technical teams to ensure stable, high-performance applications.

This is a hands-on engineering role suited for professionals who enjoy working with complex business processes, technical troubleshooting, and performance optimization within SAP environments.

What Youll Do :


- Design, develop, and implement custom SAP ABAP solutions across multiple business modules, with a focus on Plant Maintenance (PM).

- Develop and consume OData services to support modern SAP Fiori and UI5 applications.

- Work on BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and RFCs to extend SAP standard functionalities.

- Analyze PM configurations, related tables, and technical dependencies to troubleshoot and optimize performance.

- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning for ABAP objects and integration points.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

- Ensure all developments adhere to SAP best practices, performance guidelines, and security standards.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed objects, interfaces, and system integrations.

- Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and process improvements within the technical team.

What You Bring :
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in enterprise environments.

- Strong technical expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module including understanding of PM tables, configurations, BAPIs/RFCs, and customizations.

- Proven experience in OData service development and consumption for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.

- Proficiency in ABAP Objects, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, BADI/User Exit Enhancements, and Data Dictionary.

- Strong debugging, performance analysis, and code optimization skills.

- Understanding of integration points between SAP PM and other modules such as MM, PP, and SD.

- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose scalable, maintainable solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills :


- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment and its extensibility options.

- Knowledge of SAP Workflow, IDocs, and Web Services integration.

- Familiarity with SAP Gateway, Fiori Launchpad, and UI5 extensions.

- Prior experience in SAP performance tuning tools and transport management
