Job Description

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with 1+ years of hands-on experience in building and customizing websites. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins, along with strong basics in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to grow their career in web development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Create and maintain responsive, mobile-friendly websites.
  • Work with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
  • Implement basic WooCommerce setups (product upload, payment gateways, checkout process).
  • Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and optimized for performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and support ongoing website maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the design/content team to implement website changes.
  • Stay updated with latest WordPress updates and basic security practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • Good knowledge of WordPress CMS (themes, plugins, customization).
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience with Elementor / WPBakery / Gutenberg.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce basics.
  • Understanding of website responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO-friendly website structure.

Nice to Have (Optional Skills)

  • Knowledge of website backups and migration.
  • Exposure to basic version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Photoshop.
