Role & responsibilities

  • Design and develop power systems for lighting products, considering energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate power solutions into new and existing lighting products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies to improve power systems in lighting.

  • Perform testing and analysis to assess the performance and reliability of power components used in lighting products.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve power-related issues in lighting systems, providing timely solutions to maintain product quality.

  • Support product documentation, including specifications, schematics, and technical reports related to power engineering aspects.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience (4 years+) in power engineering within the lighting industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and power distribution systems.

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for PCB design.

  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to power systems and lighting (e.g., BIS, IEEE, IEC, Energy Star).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification or licensure in electrical engineering or relevant field.

  • Experience with LED technology and its integration into lighting systems.

  • Familiarity with energy-efficient lighting practices and trends.

  • Prior involvement in research or development projects focused on advancing power solutions for lighting applications.
