Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru South for a Deputy Manager Airframe Design UAV. The role involves leading the design and development of UAV airframe structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Deputy Manager will oversee CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing while ensuring timely project deliverables. Other responsibilities include analyzing structural integrity, optimizing weight, validating designs, and mentoring team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Airframe Design and Structural Analysis for UAVs, including material selection and optimization techniques
- Experience with CAD tools like CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or similar for 3D modeling and design
- Familiarity with Aerodynamics, Propulsion Systems, and UAV-specific industry standards
- Project management and leadership abilities to oversee teams and ensure project timelines are met
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in UAV design is highly preferred
