Position: Aptitude Trainer

Location : Alpha College of Engineering (Thirumazhisai) & Alpha Arts & Science College (Porur)

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Alpha Group of Institutions is looking for an energetic and skilled Aptitude Trainer to train our Arts, Engineering, and MBA students in Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. The role aims to enhance student employability by conducting structured training programs, continuous assessments, and company-specific placement preparation sessions in coordination with the Placement Cell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and deliver engaging sessions on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Data Interpretation for Arts, Engineering, and MBA students focusing on key topics commonly assessed in campus recruitment and fresher hiring tests.
  • Prepare tests, mock assessments, and question banks aligned with current company recruitment and aptitude test patterns.
  • Evaluate student performance through regular assessments and provide individual feedback and mentoring.
  • Identify student weaknesses and conduct remedial sessions to improve speed, accuracy, and conceptual clarity.
  • Conduct weekly practice sessions and maintain detailed progress tracking reports.
  • Deliver Company-Specific Practice Training in alignment with the Placement Cell and external training partners.
  • Conduct Pre-Placement Bootcamps, Group Discussions, and Mock Interviews to enhance employability readiness.
  • Provide weekly assessment analytics and reports to the Placement Team for performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with department placement coordinators, external trainers, and internal faculty for effective training delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Placement Department to schedule sessions without affecting academic schedules.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance, test results, and feedback reports.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, campus recruitment patterns, and emerging aptitude formats.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate /Postgraduate required in any discipline.
  • Strong conceptual knowledge in Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Sheets / digital teaching tools.
  • Prior experience in campus recruitment training or competitive exam coaching (CAT, GRE, SSC, Bank PO, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong coordination and mentoring skills.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
