Job Overview-

As a Senior Sales Manager in the chemical industry with specialization in the oil and gas sector

Job responsibility:

  • Person will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts and developing strategic partnerships.
  • This role will involve leveraging your deep understanding of chemical products used in the oil and gas industry, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring that the company's sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • You will be instrumental in expanding market share, driving revenue, and delivering innovative solutions to clients in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development-- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector, focusing on the sale of specialized chemicals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and partners. - Develop strategies for market entry and expansion, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution-- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets. - Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and reports for senior management. - Manage pricing strategies and negotiations to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, operations, and supply chain teams to meet customer delivery requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field is mandatory. MBA or an equivalent advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales Management is highly preferred and may be substituted for some experience in specific cases. - Certifications or coursework related to sales strategy, oil and gas sector, or chemical product management is advantageous.
  • Experience- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales and business development, with a focus on chemical products for the oil and gas industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, industry events, and conferences on pan India basis.
