Job Description: Manual Test Lead – (Salesforce Certinia / FinancialForce)

Location : Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Noida, Kochi, Trivandrum, Hyderabad

This role emphasizes leadership in manual testing within the Salesforce Certinia (FinancialForce) ecosystem. The focus is on strategic test planning, managing manual testing teams, and ensuring thorough test coverage for Certinia PSA and Financial Management modules.

Experience Range:

• 7–10 years of manual testing experience.
• Strong, focused experience testing within the Salesforce Certinia (FinancialForce) platform.

Must-Have Skills:

• In-depth understanding of Certinia PSA functionalities, workflows, and configurations.
• Proven experience leading and managing manual testing teams.
• Expertise in building detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for complex business processes such as Quote-to-Cash or Project Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

• Salesforce and Certinia data models

• Data validation for financial and project-related data

• Hands-on experience with testing and defect management tools (e.g., Jira)

• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with BA, developer, and project teams.
• Strong customer-facing skills (email communication, calls, issue tracking, and professional etiquette).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience testing end-to-end PSA processes.
• Experience using Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, or similar tools for data validation.
• Understanding of Salesforce Clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, and how they integrate with Certinia.
• Exposure to Salesforce automation/testing tools like Selenium, Provar, TOSCA, or Katalon.
• Agile/Scrum certifications.
• Salesforce Administrator or Consultant-level certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manual test strategies and plans for Salesforce Certinia projects.
• Define test scope, objectives, and timelines for Certinia implementations.
• Analyze business and technical requirements related to PSA and Financial processes to build detailed test cases.
• Lead and mentor a team of manual testers supporting Certinia modules.
• Assign tasks, manage workloads, and provide technical guidance to the testing team.
• Oversee the execution of manual test cases across PSA, Billing, Financials, and other Certinia modules.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with developers and functional consultants for efficient defect resolution.
• Create and maintain test documentation—test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Work closely with BAs, developers, and project managers to ensure test coverage aligns with Certinia requirements.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Ensure high-quality customer interactions through professional communication and issue tracking.

Certifications (Preferred):

Must Have:

• Salesforce Administrator (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong)

Good to Have:

• Certinia/FinancialForce certifications (highly desirable)
• Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
• Certifications in Agile methodologies
• Experience or certification in Salesforce test automation tools
