**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the hand tools manufacturing line, with a specific focus on spanner production. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our hand tools, leveraging your expertise in key manufacturing processes and machine shop operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. **Production Oversight:**

  2. Supervise and manage the entire production process for spanner manufacturing, ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

  3. Oversee key manufacturing processes, including forging, broaching, trimming, and punching, to ensure quality and efficiency.

  4. **Process Optimization:**

  5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.

  6. Ensure all production activities adhere to established safety standards and protocols.

  7. **Team Leadership:**

  8. Lead and mentor a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

  9. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is knowledgeable about the latest production techniques and safety practices.

  10. **Quality Assurance:**

  11. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.

  12. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify and rectify any quality issues.

  13. **Machine Shop Operations:**

  14. Manage and maintain machine shop operations, ensuring all equipment, including belt systems and automatic tool changers (ATC), are functioning optimally.

  15. Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule regular maintenance and repairs of machinery to prevent downtime.

  16. **Reporting and Documentation:**

  17. Maintain accurate records of production outputs, quality control checks, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures.

  18. Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.

**Qualifications:**

  • **Education:**

  • A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in the field will also be considered.

  • **Experience:**

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production role within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on hand tools or similar products.

  • Proven experience in overseeing manufacturing processes such as forging, broaching, trimming, and punching.

  • **Technical Skills:**

  • In-depth knowledge of machine shop operations and experience with belt systems, automatic tool changers (ATC), and other critical components in the production cycle.

  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools.

  • **Leadership Skills:**

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing production teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • **Problem-Solving Skills:**

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
