Qualification:Diploma/ B.E. (Mechanical Engineering - Added Advantage) / Any Engineering Graduate
Experience: 3 to 10 Years
Work Location: Chennai(Thousand Lights)
Industry Preference:
FMCG, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Distillery, Sugar & Steel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for engineering and production materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality sourcing.
- Handle procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, and capital equipment related to FMCG, automobile, mechanical, and electrical industries.
- Prepare and analyze purchase budgets, cost reduction plans, and vendor performance reports.
- Maintain and monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
