Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager with a strong background in project delivery and stakeholder management. While this role is not hands-on in development, it requires a solid technical foundation to guide delivery teams, manage client expectations, and support pre-sales and solution discussions. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless sprint execution, align technical delivery with business outcomes, and contribute to pre-sales engagements through effort estimation, solution scoping, and proposal support.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Project Management
Own end-to-end delivery of multiple agile projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes aligned with client and business goals.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and proactively address risks and dependencies.
Oversee sprint execution and ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon timelines and quality standards.
Coordinate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technical leads for smooth sprint ceremonies and backlog management.
Track and report sprint metrics, velocity, and project health.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Partner with business stakeholders and clients to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria using tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira.
Conduct impact analysis, gap assessments, and ensure clear traceability of requirements through delivery.
Support solution discussions with architects and tech leads to validate technical feasibility.
Track, manage, and prioritize ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets including incidents, service requests, and change requests.
Technical & Strategic Oversight
Collaborate with architects and tech leads to validate solution designs and assess technical feasibility.
Understand high-level technical concepts (APIs, integrations, cloud, DevOps, data flows) to guide discussions and decisions.
Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary delivery point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent communication and governance.
Conduct client meetings to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and delivery scope.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and manage scope or change requests effectively.
Pre-Sales Support
Collaborate with the sales and solutions team during pre-sales phases to define project scope, timelines, and delivery models.
Participate in client presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and proposal discussions.
Contribute to effort estimation, resource planning, and technical solutioning for new opportunities.
Provide insights on delivery feasibility, cost implications, and risk mitigation strategies during deal shaping.
Agile Delivery & Reporting
Work with Product Owners to create and refine user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps (ADO).
Ensure sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective) are conducted efficiently.
Maintain delivery dashboards and generate reports for leadership and client updates.
Team Leadership
Mentor and guide cross-functional teams to drive accountability, ownership, and delivery excellence.
Foster collaboration between onsite and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Support resource onboarding, ramp-up, and competency building within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
Exp. 8+ Years of experience in IT project and delivery management, preferably in Agile environments.
Proven track record managing end-to-end delivery across distributed or multi-vendor teams.
Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira for sprint and backlog management.
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
Strong client engagement and stakeholder management capabilities.
Hands-on experience in pre-sales activities including proposal support, estimation, and client presentations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Background in software engineering, architecture, or technical consulting (non-hands-on acceptable).
Soft Skills
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
