About the Role

Tedora Hacker Academy is looking for an experienced SOC Analyst to lead and mentor students in defensive cybersecurity operations. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical, hands-on training in Security Operations Center (SOC) concepts, tools, and processes, ensuring learners gain industry-ready skills.

This role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals who are passionate about teaching, knowledge-sharing, and guiding the next generation of SOC analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured training sessions on SOC operations, threat monitoring, and incident response.

  • Provide hands-on training in SOC tools such as Splunk, Papertrail, and Wazuh.

  • Design assignments, labs, and projects to enhance practical learning.

  • Mentor and evaluate students on cybersecurity tasks and project work.

  • Stay updated with the latest SOC trends, tools, and frameworks to ensure curriculum relevance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Mandatory Certification: Certified SOC Analyst (CSA – EC Council) or equivalent industry-recognized certification.

  • Strong expertise in:

  • Linux

  • Networking & Security fundamentals

  • Cyber defense concepts

  • Proven hands-on experience with SOC tools (Splunk, Papertrail, Wazuh).

  • Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or corporate training (preferred).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
