Summary:
The TIBCO EBX Developer of IT Data & Analytics is responsible for building and maintaining TIBCO EBX MDM data models in support of critical business strategies. This role involves collaboration with other MDM Leads to ensure project schedules are accurately estimated and controlled.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that user requirements are fully understood and agreed upon.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to create appropriate designs.
- Develop EBX Data models, workflows, and manage user access.
- Coordinate with the EBX vendor and develop proof of concepts as needed.
- Keep the EBX platform up to date with upgrades and patches.
- Perform necessary coding and troubleshooting for EBX issues.
- Work with the Solution Architect to define EBX solutions.
- Optimize the performance of the TIBCO EBX environment.
- Follow ITIL processes for code deployment to Pre-Production and Production environments.
- Prepare documentation to transfer application code to the operational support team for day-to-day management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in implementing MDM features using the TIBCO EBX tool.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing workflows, user access, and roles within TIBCO EBX tools.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery, and related tools such as GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Extensive experience across multiple platforms/technologies, including Java.
- Good programming knowledge in Java/J2ee
- Basic Knowledge in Linux shell scripting
- Basic Knowledge in SQL
- Experience in developing applications on Unix and/or Windows platforms.
- Flexibility and ability to quickly learn new technologies when required.
- Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, especially with teams from various global regions.
- Strong organizational skills and adherence to development work and processes.
- Dynamic, conscientious, autonomous, with strong team spirit and proactivity.
- Ability to work with moderate supervision.
- Strategic and creative thinking to analyze and resolve arising issues.
- Positive response to feedback and ability to implement process, procedure, and behavior changes as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
