Core Responsibilities
A Senior Accounts Executive's duties generally fall into the following categories:
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted results.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions.
Transaction Management and Reconciliation
Oversee and manage specific accounting functions, such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll.
- Perform complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis.
- Process and manage fixed asset registers, depreciation, and amortization schedules.
Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer payments.
Compliance and Auditing
Ensure all accounting practices comply with regulatory requirements, including GAAP/IFRS.
