Role Description
The Sr Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Kolkata. The Sr Sales Manager will oversee business development, build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, and drive revenue growth in the assigned region. This role involves setting and executing sales strategies, managing a sales team, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sr Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including account management, revenue planning, and lead generation
- Proficiency in team leadership and performance management, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Analytical skills for market assessment, competitor analysis, and identifying growth opportunities
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation abilities
- Familiarity with the consumer electrical industry and/or experience working with channel sales is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a managerial capacity
