Role Description

This full-time, on-site MBA Marketing Intern role is based in Madurai & Chennai. The intern will be responsible for conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, assisting in sales activities, and providing support for customer service initiatives. Additionally, the intern will contribute to data analysis and measures to enhance market reach and engagement, while collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• An MBA in Marketing or a related field is preferred.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct research on
  student demographics
  , learning preferences, and enrollment trends.
• Analyze competitors (other institutes or ed-tech platforms) to identify strengths, weaknesses, and market opportunities.
• Generate
  insight reports
  on emerging courses or education technologies.

2. Digital Marketing & Campaign Support

• Plan and execute
  social media marketing
  campaigns to promote courses and webinars.
• Create engaging content for
  LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
  .
• Work with the marketing team to manage
  Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO strategies
  .
• Track key performance indicators such as
  click-through rates (CTR), lead generation, and conversions
  .

3. Brand Promotion & Awareness

• Support the creation of
  marketing materials
  — brochures, flyers, student guides, and video content.
• Collaborate on
  branding initiatives
  like online events, open houses, or education fairs.
• Ensure the brand message aligns with the institution's mission and values.

4. Lead Generation & CRM Management

• Work with the admissions or sales team to nurture leads from digital campaigns.
• Maintain and update student data in
  CRM tools
  (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM).
• Help automate lead follow-ups and track inquiry-to-enrollment conversion.

5. Event Marketing

• Assist in organizing
  webinars, workshops, and virtual open days
  .
• Coordinate with speakers, faculty, and students to ensure smooth execution.
• Promote events through email marketing and social media campaigns.

6. Content Creation & Communication

• Draft promotional content for newsletters, emails, blogs, and website updates.
• Help create
  student testimonials, success stories, and case studies
  .
• Work with the design team to produce creative visuals and infographics.

7. Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly
  marketing performance reports
  .
• Analyze campaign results and suggest improvements.
• Present data-driven insights to help refine marketing strategy.
