
Deputy Manager/ Manager- HR

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to manage and support key HR functions, specifically in Performance Management Systems (PMS), Employee Engagement, and Learning & Development (L&D). This role involves partnering with leadership and employees to foster a positive work environment, drive performance initiatives, and facilitate employee development programs.
Key Performance Areas
Performance Management System (PMS):
- Oversee the implementation and administration of the PMS across all levels of the organization.
- Guide managers and employees through the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations.
- Provide support in setting performance goals, tracking progress, and offering feedback.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for addressing performance gaps and driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain PMS data and prepare regular reports to assess trends and identify areas for development.
Employee Engagement:
- Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to increase morale, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conduct employee surveys, feedback sessions, and focus groups to understand employee needs and concerns.
- Work with leadership to address concerns, improve workplace culture, and promote work-life balance.
- Organize employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities to enhance overall engagement.
- Monitor and analyze employee engagement metrics, suggesting improvements based on data and feedback.
Learning & Development (L&D):
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and development needs across the organization.
- Assist in the creation and execution of L&D programs to address organizational goals and personal development.
- Facilitate training sessions and coordinate external training providers when necessary.
- Help develop a culture of continuous learning by promoting professional development opportunities.
- Track training effectiveness and gather feedback to enhance future L&D initiatives.
General HR Support:
- Provide general HR support in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all HR policies are followed.
- Stay updated on labor laws and best practices to ensure compliance and best-in-class HR practices.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, ensuring a positive employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HR, preferably with exposure to Performance Management, Employee Engagement, and L&D.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite.
- Certification in HR or performance management (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of performance management tools and processes.
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights on employee engagement and performance.
- Proven ability to drive engagement initiatives and foster positive organizational culture.
