About the Role

We are seeking an experienced German-speaking Accountant in Pakistan with hands-on experience in DATEV (German accounting software), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and payroll management for European markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Manage and process payrolls for Germany and other European markets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data
  • Handle tax calculations and compliance with German/European payroll regulations
  • Review and verify invoices and salary statements, ensuring accurate payments and correct billing to clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to reconcile financial data
  • Support audits and provide financial analysis as needed.

Key Requirements

  • Fluency in German and English (spoken & written).
  • Hands-on experience with DATEV.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards.
  • Experience managing payrolls in Germany/European markets.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work according to European (German/Swedish) working hours.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
