Logistics Manager

Job Description:

1. Responsible for entering sales order in SAP as per information from sales.
2. Co-ordinate & follow up with Plants for required readiness date, Transportation, Forwarder, Customer & Sales for smooth supply of materials.
3. Create shipment bookings, check Bill of Lading and coordinate with customer, sales and forwarder
   
   for required shipment dates and solve various shipment related issues as and when required.
4. Co-ordinate with sales and customer for payments and arrange for payment settlement for all orders
   
   and update Collection Management in SAP.
5. Preparation of shipment invoice & packing list after applying price index calculation applicable only for customers in Egypt.
6. Responsible to apply for ACID at Egyptian customs which is required for each and every shipment.
7. Application of ACID in all shipment documents and uploading the same in Cargo X portal for custom clearance at Egypt.
   
   8 Arrange & prepare export shipping documents required for clearing material and submit to banks.
8. Analyze customers credit worthiness & apply Internal credit limit in SAP.
9. To follow up with customers and sales for overdue payments and share the updated payment status.
10. Preparation of customer delivery schedule and to circulate the same with sales on a weekly basis.
11. To work on PIFOT and to maintain the target of 85% for Egyptian customers by managing the ratio of shipments based on payments received last month.
12. Preparation of various reports & trouble shooting as part of the process.
13. Preparation of client IFRS report bi - weekly for region India/META to project the monthly sales revenue.
14. Preparation of stock/inventory report and to share the same with responsible sales on a weekly basis.
15. Participating in Bi-weekly call with all sales person along with regional head and presenting the current overdue status for the respective customers and the necessary actions required by sales.
16. Coordinating with global supply chain planners for application of additional capacity wherever required for any urgent order of CSRs.
17. Handling a team of 18 members (CSRs) and catering to solve their issues on day to day basis.

18. Handling issues for CSRs under RHIM (2 members from Vienna & 1 from South Africa)
    
    Skills and Attributes Required:

19. SAP SD Knowledge is must.

20. Experience with background in Export/Import/Logistics and customs.
21. Basic knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, Handling Letter of credit.
22. Basic understanding of Mathematics, like Unitary method, percentage calculation, basic calculation rules.
23. Good communication skill, patience in handling customer requests.
24. Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
25. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
26. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
27. Competent in problem solving.
28. Well versed with international trade, incoterms and payment terms
