Job Title: Manager Purchase

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain

Job Summary:

The Manager Purchase is responsible for driving cost savings, managing procurement operations, and ensuring smooth functioning of the Oracle Procurement Module. The role involves strategic vendor management, contract negotiation, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Savings from Procurement

  • Achieve cost savings through effective vendor negotiations and strategic sourcing.
  • Continuously identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising on quality and service.

2. Handling Procurement Module (Oracle ERP)

  • Manage and configure the Oracle Procurement Module at Group Level.

  • Handle modules such as:

  • Purchasing

  • Self-Service Procurement
  • Sourcing
  • Supplier Portal
  • Inventory Management
  • Cost Management

3. Manage Technical Workbook of Procurement Module

  • Independently manage procurement workbooks at group level.

  • Perform:

  • Open/Close Period activities

  • Item modification and COA value mapping
  • Category creation with functions
  • Location master updates and mapping set maintenance
  • Regular workbook upkeep and version control

4. Contract / Agreement Management Indirect Spend Vendors

  • Handle contract renewals and new agreements ensuring escalation clauses and optimized cost terms.
  • Vet agreements with the Legal Department and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain database of all contracts and ensure timely renewals and compliance.

5. Procurement Reports

  • Prepare and submit timely procurement and CAPEX reports to CFO and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and track procurement KPIs, budget utilization, and vendor performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in a group or multi-location setup.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Procurement or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
