Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect
to lead the design and delivery of
enterprise data and analytics solutions
. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams to architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions using modern
cloud-native data platforms
such as
Databricks Lakehouse
and
AWS
. This role demands strong expertise in end-to-end solution architecture, data integration (SAP & non-SAP), and large-scale analytics delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business, data, and technical requirements to design scalable data solutions.
  • Develop
    conceptual, logical, and physical architectures
    for data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML projects.
  • Oversee the
    solution lifecycle
    — from design and build to testing and deployment.
  • Architect and integrate
    SAP and non-SAP data sources
    ensuring data consistency and performance.
  • Define and implement
    solution-level security, compliance, and governance
    in collaboration with data security teams.
  • Lead
    performance optimization, scalability, and cost efficiency
    initiatives.
  • Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Stay current with advances in
    cloud, data engineering, and analytics
    technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — data engineers, data scientists, DevOps, and business stakeholders — for successful solution delivery.

Experience & Technical Proficiency

Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years in
    solution architecture, data architecture
    , or
    platform engineering
    roles.
  • Proven record in delivering
    enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions
    .

Technical Proficiency

  • Solution Architecture & Data Platforms:
  • Data platform design (conceptual, logical, physical)
  • Cloud-native & hybrid architectures (Databricks Lakehouse, AWS)
  • Integration with SAP & non-SAP data sources
  • Databricks Lakehouse Expertise:
  • Medallion Architecture, Delta Lake, DLT Pipelines
  • PySpark, Spark SQL, SQL Warehouse
  • Unity Catalog (Governance, Lineage), Genie (Query optimization)
  • RBAC & security configuration
  • Programming:
    Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark, Scala
  • AWS Services:
    IAM, S3, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, Bedrock
  • Solution Delivery:
    DevOps, CI/CD, architecture documentation, performance tuning, cost optimization
  • Data Modeling:
    ER & dimensional modeling
  • Compliance:
    Knowledge of data security & compliance frameworks
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
    , or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications:
    Databricks, AWS, or Solution Architecture
  • Experience with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, DataSphere, ABAP, and CDS Views
  • Exposure to Data Mesh
    or
    Data Product Management
