Job Description - Solution Architect
Solution Architect is a key role within the Professional Services team. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end solutions for customers working along with consultants to deliver WorkSpan’s solutions.
It is the Solution Architect’s responsibility to understand the customer’s business needs and design the appropriate solution. This role has two components - solution architecture and customer management. Key activities include interacting with customers to gather requirements, and working with our internal modeling team to design the best solution for the long-term success of our customers.
This is an important and critical part of our Professional Services team and reports to the Director of Professional Services.

**Responsibilities**:
Aid in developing the business requirements document process from requirements gathering to sign-off from customers.
Interpret and translate customer requirements into a solution that can be configured from our standard set of offerings. Implement our customers' solution needs
Align solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules, and other contractual documents) with terms and conditions
Manage and guide the technical implementation process, from design, deployment, UAT, production deployment, and hyper care.
Learn WorkSpan platform, data model, business processes, prescriptive packages, and implementation methodology.
Lead the technical implementation team end to end, from development to post-production hyper care.
Be a trusted advisor during the implementation phase, and recommend and build scalable solutions for the success of our customers.
Initiate project change requests for additional customer requirements.
Understands WorkSpan product roadmap.
Work closely with your project manager to ensure project progression as per the project plan, assess and manage risks to project completion and proactively address any risks or deviations to the plan.
Assist in project status meetings with the customer to understand changes to the agreed-upon technical requirements.
Identify system and process improvement opportunities.
Regularly review the delivery of scoped engagements and build best practices in order to fine-tune scoping and better address the needs of future customers.
Develop best practices for targeted solution offerings and a process to manage SA best practices in solution design
Mentor and coach Solutions Consultant in different projects and customer situations
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide valuable feedback on the products and steer new enhancements and product features based on customer business needs

**Qualifications**:
Techno-functional background with at least 10-15 years of experience in one or more of the following areas including but not limited to:
Software architecture design
Translating Business Requirements into Technical Design
Professional consulting experience
Excellent communication skills
Experience designing or developing B2B integrations using any Middleware
Knowledge of JSON / XML (this is needed to build data model templates and write business process events/actions)
Experience in integration Middleware like Web methods / MS Power Automate will be added advantage
Familiar with MS Office products (Excel, PPT, Word) & MS Visio.
Experience with longer-term planning for customer’s use of our solution and platform for large, complex implementations and rollouts
Bachelor's Degree Required or Equivalent Experience
