Job Title: Market Strategist

The Market Strategist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing strategies to identify market opportunities, forecast trends, and position the company competitively. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, business acumen, and creative strategy to drive growth and improve market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, customer behavior, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop data-driven marketing and business strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Forecasting: Analyze economic indicators, consumer trends, and competitor movements to forecast market shifts.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to define GTM plans for new products or services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on market performance, identifying areas for improvement and new opportunities.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Build comprehensive profiles of key competitors, monitoring their strengths, weaknesses, and strategic movements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform business decisions.
  • Brand Positioning: Ensure consistent market positioning and differentiation across all communication channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business management or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in market strategy, business analysis, or strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategic insights.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends, consumer insights, and business development strategies.
