Role and Responsibilities: This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful assembly and integration of mechanical components in industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in the field of industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Mechanical Assembly: Lead the assembly and integration of mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems for industrial automation projects.
  2. Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to assemble and align mechanical components accurately.
  3. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure components and assemblies meet quality standards and adhere to design specifications.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving measures in the assembly and integration phase.
  6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, modifications, and quality checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  7. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the assembly process, ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the field of industrial automation or machinery manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with precision tools, equipment, and machinery used in assembly processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to mechanical assembly work.
Additional Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for reviewing designs and assemblies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to industrial machinery assembly.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
