Role and Responsibilities: This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful assembly and integration of mechanical components in industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in the field of industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Assembly: Lead the assembly and integration of mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems for industrial automation projects.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to assemble and align mechanical components accurately.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure components and assemblies meet quality standards and adhere to design specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving measures in the assembly and integration phase.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, modifications, and quality checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the assembly process, ensuring a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the field of industrial automation or machinery manufacturing.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with precision tools, equipment, and machinery used in assembly processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to mechanical assembly work.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for reviewing designs and assemblies.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to industrial machinery assembly.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of industrial automation.
