Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer- Mechanical to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee mechanical engineering projects, driving innovation and ensuring technical excellence across our organization.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers
  • Develop and implement mechanical engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
  • Conduct design reviews and validate engineering solutions
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in mechanical engineering processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Experience with simulation and analysis tools like ANSYS and FEA
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven track record in product development and design optimization
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and manufacturing processes
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience working in a global, multicultural environment is advantageous
