About the Role
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of field sales representatives who meet with clients and close deals in the field. You'll be the expert on financial planning, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team consistently achieves and exceeds its sales targets. A successful leader in this role is persuasive, highly organized, and an exceptional problem-solver with strong negotiation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of field sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular field visits to provide on-the-job coaching and support to team members.
- Monitor daily and monthly sales performance, providing continuous feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Manage team manpower, including work allocation, leave management, and performance reviews.
- Conduct daily briefings and sales strategy meetings to align the team on targets and key objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to support the team in closing high-value deals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and team progress.
- Collaborate with the HR and Support teams to address team requirements and client queries effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in a field sales or direct sales role.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or team management position is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of our products and the ability to articulate their value proposition to clients.
- Excellent communication in hindi and english, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to handle objections and build rapport with clients in person.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in the field.
- Proficiency in maintaining sales reports and using a CRM system.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
