Lal Sweets Pvt. Ltd. is a leading Indian sweets and snacks brand, known for combining traditional recipes with modern retail excellence. We are rapidly expanding across retail and digital platforms and are now building a strong Quick Commerce business to deliver our products faster and fresher to customers.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented General Manager – Quick Commerce to lead and scale our online business presence across quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, and Big Basket Now. The ideal candidate should have strong FMCG experience, deep understanding of digital retail operations, and a proven record of driving growth in modern trade or online channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall Quick Commerce business strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead partnerships and negotiations with major Quick Commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, etc.).
- Drive sales growth, visibility, and profitability across all online retail partners.
- Manage P&L, pricing, promotions, assortment, and stock availability for all platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams – marketing, supply chain, and operations – to ensure seamless execution.
- Analyze data and consumer insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Build and lead a high-performing team for quick commerce channel management.
- Ensure consistent brand presence and customer experience across digital touchpoints.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG, with at least 5 years in e-commerce or quick commerce channels.
- Proven experience in managing online distribution and sales growth.
- Strong understanding of digital merchandising, demand planning, and analytics.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or Postgraduate in Marketing / Operations preferred.
