Requirement CA with 3 – 5 years of post-qualification experience (preferably in an NBFC / audit firm or investment firm). Should have good knowledge of accounting standard, taxation (IT/GST), RBI regulations, corporate laws, other statutory compliances, and good analytical skills.

About the Role -

Organization: Our client is one of the promoter families of Asian Paints Ltd, India's largest paints company.

Office Location – Nariman Point, Mumbai.

The company consists of several companies, private trusts, NGO within its fold.

Entities include –

  1. 2 RBI registered NBFC's, involved in group level borrowings and holding long term investments.

  2. Property development and investment companies.

  3. Charitable trusts in the area of sports education, training and coaching for children and coaches.

  4. SEBI registered Alternative Investment Fund, for strategic investments in Venture Capital, Private Equity and listed companies.

  5. Individual family investments in India and Overseas.

The role will report to the Senior Manager – Accounts and Finance.

Job Responsibilities (across group entities) –

a) Oversight of accounting operations in various entities and individual accounts.

b) Ensure tax compliance and other regulatory compliances, RBI audits etc.

c) Preparing various MIS and analysis on accounting and investment aspects.

d) Preparation of financial statement and timely completion of audit

e) Preparation of consolidated financial statements

f) Investments operations for entities & individuals in Mutual Funds, AIF's, Stocks/Bonds, LRS funds etc.

g) Regular interactions with lenders and auditors (statutory/internal).

h) Timely up-dation of policies and processes.

i) Good understanding of accounting standards, RBI regulations for NBFCs and SEBI regulation of AIF.

Team strength – Currently, there are 2 Family Office teams totally consisting of Group CFO, 4 CA's, 1 Senior Accounts Manager, 2 CS and 12 staff.

The role being recruited will handle a sub-set of the above operations, with an identified sub-set of team.
