Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Senior GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Consultant. The role involves performing risk assessments, implementing governance frameworks, managing compliance activities, and leading business continuity and disaster recovery processes. Responsibilities include designing security policies, conducting cybersecurity audits and training, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, and providing expert guidance on frameworks like ISO, NIST, and GDPR. The Senior GRC Consultant will also mentor junior team members and support strategic decision-making to enhance organizational resilience.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Information Security frameworks like ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, NIST, and PCI-DSS
  • Proficiency in Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery planning, including ISO 22301 standards
  • Expertise in regulatory compliances such as RBI guidelines and IT Service Management frameworks like ITIL and ISO 20000
  • Capability in conducting risk assessments, penetration testing, and cybersecurity audits
  • Strong skills in policy design, incident response coordination, and SOC operations
  • Experience in mentoring teams and providing consultation in roles such as vCISO, vCaaS, or as technical SMEs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO Lead Auditor are an advantage
  • Proven track record of 8-12 years in GRC-focused roles, with experience in Tier-1 organizations preferred
