We are seeking an experienced FP&A Lead / Manager to join our team and drive strategic financial initiatives while providing critical insights to our executive leadership team.

Position Summary:

The FP&A Lead / Manager will lead our FP&A function and serve as a strategic partner to the executive team. This role will oversee financial modeling, SaaS metrics analysis, budgeting processes, and provide data-driven insights to optimize business performance. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of investment banking experience, SaaS industry knowledge, and strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with C-suite executives to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including scenario planning and sensitivity analyses
  • Develop comprehensive financial models incorporating SaaS-specific metrics to evaluate business performance and guide resource allocation
  • Create and present executive dashboards highlighting key performance indicators and business trends
  • Lead financial analyses to support strategic initiatives including pricing strategies, market expansion, and potential M&A opportunities
  • Oversee the development of board and investor presentations with clear financial narratives
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish departmental KPIs and track performance against goals
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes and systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA preferred
  • CFA Level I certification or higher
  • 8 years of progressive finance experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in investment banking with focus on sell-side M&A advisory
  • Demonstrated expertise in SaaS business models and metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, NDR, Magic Number)
  • Strong financial modeling skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience partnering with executive stakeholders and presenting to boards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems and data visualization tools (Excel, Anaplan, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams and processes
  • Ability to overlap with EST / PST timezones
