Product Engineer – UI/UX & Backend
who can work across
UI/UX design
,
frontend development
, and
backend API engineering
. You will collaborate with our technical lead and delivery team to design interfaces, build features, and support platform integrations.


Role Overview

This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys both
designing user experiences
and
building the logic behind them
.

You will create UI/UX designs in Figma
and
translate them into functional product features using React and

Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design

  • Create
    Figma designs
    , wireframes, and clickable prototypes.
  • Develop complete user flows for dashboards, detail pages, scan workflows, admin panels, reports, etc.
  • Create design system elements:
  • Colour palettes
  • Typography
  • Components & states
  • Responsive grids
  • Prepare UI assets, product screenshots, and visuals for demos.
  • Ensure consistent and intuitive user experience across the platform.


Frontend Development

  • Implement React + Vite screens based on your own designs or product requirements.
  • Build responsive, clean UI components aligned with the design system.
  • Handle page states (loading, empty, error, validation).
  • Integrate frontend with backend APIs and authentication flows.


Backend Development

  • Develop and maintain APIs.
  • Implement reporting endpoints, validation logic, and data processing flows.
  • Integrate CSV uploads, external API ingestion, and authentication behaviour.
  • Maintain Postman collections and basic integration tests.


Collaboration

  • Work with the
    technical lead
    for engineering tasks.
  • Coordinate with the
    delivery team
    to ensure smooth releases.
  • Assist with regression testing before customer demos.

  • Docker (basic)
  • AWS exposure is a plus

Optional / Nice to Have

  • Basic security concepts


Required Experience

  • 1–3 years in UI/UX, frontend, backend, or product engineering.
  • Experience designing in
    Figma
    and building UIs in
    React
    .
  • Experience building or consuming
    REST APIs
    .
  • Strong interest in both design and development.
