About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Stores & Purchase Assistant
to support our supply chain, inventory management, and procurement activities. The role involves handling day-to-day operations of stores, coordinating with vendors, ensuring timely purchase of materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain inventory of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods in the stores.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials; ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Issue materials to production and maintain proper documentation.
  • Track stock levels and generate inventory reports regularly.
  • Assist in identifying suppliers, obtaining quotations, and preparing purchase orders.
  • Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
  • Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery challans.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP / Excel for stock and purchase transactions.
  • Support periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with accounts, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth flow of materials.

Requirements

  • Graduate / Diploma (Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in stores / purchase / inventory management.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or inventory software is an advantage.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams.

Work Location

  • Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore
    (Onsite role).
