Job Description: Company Secretary
We are looking to onboard a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance & Secretarial professional to join our team. The role involves providing support for company secretarial duties, client internal compliance, transaction compliance, and due diligence.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Company Secretary with 3-5 years of
post-qualification experience
; - Proven experience in corporate and secretarial compliance;
- Experience in cross-border corporate transactions would be an added advantage;
- Excellent advisory and due diligence capabilities;
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance frameworks and regulations;
- Ability to work independently, handle confidential information with discretion, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee corporate compliances under the Companies Act of 2013 and the Foreign Exchange Management Act;
- Provide comprehensive corporate compliance assistance;
- Support multiple internal teams with compliance-related matters;
- Support due diligence and associated concerns;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, clients, and other stakeholders on compliance-related matters;
- Respond to inquiries, provide information, and ensure timely and accurate communication regarding compliance issues;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements and best practices;
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures;
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.
