Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Accountant for a reputed company at the Mumbai(Borivali West) location.

Department : Finance and Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Manage month-end closing of books of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure timely compliance with tax requirements, including GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations.
  • Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations for vendors, customers, and inter-company transactions to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Audit Coordination: Facilitate both internal and external audit processes, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance.
  • Periodic Financial Closure: Lead quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly closure of books of accounts, maintaining financial integrity.
  • Reporting: Prepare various financial reports for stakeholders, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Financial Expertise: Profound knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and experience with Tally (preferred).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to handling tasks and challenges.
  • Advanced Excel: Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
