Position -Application engineer:

Experience -With 1-2 years of experience in fan and equipment selection in sales tool.

Job Description

Knowledge of HVAC equipment selection.

In the new sales tool, create a new project and fan selections that MATCH all features of the of the fans on the Sales tool project files.


• Fan Selection Features include:


• Fan Model


• Fan Size


• Tag


• Fan performance (cfm, static pressure, fan rpm, brake horsepower bhp)


• Motor selection and configuration (hp, Efficiency, Enclosure, Speed (rpm), Voltage (V), Phase, Frequency (Hz), Shaft Grounding, Thermal Overload)


• All Accessory selections found in the Speed controllers, Controls and Sensors, Switches, Options, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and Quick Ship Program selections


• Should also be checking to ensure that the quantity and list prices match from the Sales tool Option Detail Report to the Sales tool project file. Quantities of each fan selection should match.


• If there are SPR (Special Price Requisitions) in the Sales tool file, we need to contact PennBarry Application Engineering, so they are able to create the Sales tool SPR on the same file.


• Project Set Up should include the same project name and contact information.


• Other duties as assigned - for example, testing the sales software
