Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead application engineering activities related to railway bogies, traction motors, and bearing systems.
  • Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to develop and validate customized technical solutions for railway applications.
  • Provide technical support to sales and customer teams for tenders, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Interface with clients such as Indian Railways to understand requirements and deliver suitable technical solutions.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards relevant to railway components.
  • Coordinate product trials, validation, and performance testing.
  • Support failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards and quality norms (RDSO/IEC/EN standards).
  • Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering (Full-Time).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application engineering or technical roles in the railway sector.
  • Strong understanding of bogie systems, traction motors, bearings, and related mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience in liaising with RDSO, CLW, DLW, or similar railway authorities preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
