Job Description
Team Leader- GEBS Operations
Noida/Pune-India
The "Team Lead Business Operations "is part of GEBS Business Operations in India. In a high-paced environment, drive process development, competency & enhancement in the landscape of Business Operations, encompassing stakeholders across all four regions of the globe, leading to Efficiency in Execution
Ensure appropriate process and performance driven culture across the team, including change readiness and adoption for technology and operational changes that improve the way we operate and deliver continuous value for our customers across their Lifecycle. Drive Productivity and Continuous Improvement in the LCS Supply Chain segment, enabling the Materials & Services Procurement processes.
You will be report to MANAGER GEBS BUSINESS OPERATIONS.
Your Responsibilities:
- Functional
o Lead a team of GEBS Operations to ensure high quality results in Materials / Purchasing function.
o Provide timely feedback to the Team and taking full responsibility including assessment, management and performance appraisals (PADR) of the team reporting to this position
o Take the initiative to work with team to achieve business goals.
o Provide direction, assistance and collaborate with Team Effectively
o Work with region and our teams (SSO, Project Managers, Project Engineers/ Admin / Product support/ Purchasing, Warehouse, Manufacturing Plants, Planning, Accounts Payable) on effective end-to-end Procurement Cyle and identifying process opportunities in Material Ordering , Procuring, deliveries ordered and receipts/invoicing on-time.
o Identifying Global Process Improvement opportunities in Supply Chain and leading those initiatives.
o Aligning Integrated Supply Chain best practices for procurement cycle in LCS.
o Develop internal competency to create functional excellence.
o Build the right support structure to address and support business growth.
o Drive and execute Continuous Improvement initiatives / Lean Six Sigma programs, in identifying wastes / process improvements.
o Enhance customer engagement & ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
o Ensure deliverables provided by the function are delivered within acceptable quality on time and on budget with high levels of Internal Customer Satisfaction.
o Support best practice sharing and knowledge transfer among teams to improve competency of function.
o Assess and develop competency and capabilities among the team.
o Execute processes in compliance with established SOPs and guidelines. Performs a wide variety of Supply Chain duties for assigned team(s) globally.
o Monitor monthly progress on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and publish necessary reports required by management and various regional stakeholders as per the established cadence.
o Contribute in Root cause analysis for any deviation highlighted by the regional stakeholders, required documentation of the said deviations and responding to audit processes as and when required.
o Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental, environmental, safety, quality and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.
o Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary technical, financial and commercial information.
o Establish and execute clear Issue to Resolution (I2R) process, for escalation management.
- Oversees
o Quality of Deliverables, Activities & Transactions; Customer satisfaction, Process Health.
o Compliance of Business Processes in alignments with Quality Management System.
o Performance data / KPIs aligned with agreed Service Level Agreements.
o Measure and exceed the metrics of Quality, Speed, Productivity
o Progress of Objective Key Results for each fiscal year.
o Monthly Business readout to Management.
- Performance Indicators
o Global Voices results for the assigned Team.
o On Time Start, On Time Delivery of the processes and transactional deliverables.
o Purchase Order Confirmations, Overdue invoices, Materials Status Sync, Lead Time & Pricing accuracy,
o Supplier Performance.
o Lean Six Sigma – Tangible Outcomes
o Efficiency Savings on CI Projects
Any other relevant / applicable performance indicator as determined from time to time
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Full-time bachelor's degree mandatory.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience, working in a fast paced, high volume business environment.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of Supply chain: Procurement / P2P /O2C cycle, Direct Purchases, Materials Planning is required.
- Expertise with IFS, SAP – CRM/ ECC, MM Module.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite & other productivity applications.
- Strong active listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, Business Analysis Skills.
- Analytical and conceptual expertise.
- Expertise in one or more of Rockwell Automation's business systems is required.
- MBA or similar professional qualification in Supply Chain will be preferred.
