Job Description

Lead Productivity & Process Optimization– Drive line balancing, layout redesign, SMED, and material flow initiatives to maximize output, reduce cycle time, and optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or safety.

Implement Lean Manufacturing Practices – Champion 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban to eliminate waste (Muda, Mura, Muri) and embed Lean culture into daily operations.

Establish Work Standards & Measurement Systems– Apply MOST and time study techniques to set accurate production standards, manpower norms, and ensure SOP adherence.

Build IE Capability & Culture– Train and mentor plant teams on Lean, SMED, MOST, and LEAN Tools, fostering cross-site collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Lead Continuous Improvement & Lean Projects– Deliver data-driven projects targeting measurable improvements in Productivity, cost, and delivery aligned with business goals.

Manage Projects & Capex – Oversee layout planning, plant modifications, and capacity expansion projects, ensuring budget compliance and achieving ROI targets.

Monitor Implementation & Sustain Improvements– Track deployment of IE initiatives, resolve bottlenecks, and audit processes to maintain performance gains.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with Cluster/Plant ME & Operations teams to align improvement actions with operational and strategic objectives.

Job Requirement

Work Experience

8–10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering within manufacturing, preferably in high-volume or discrete manufacturing environments.

Proven track record in productivity improvement, Lean implementation, and project management.

Hands-on experience in MOST, SMED, 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and layout planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong expertise in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MOST, time study, and work measurement techniques.
  • Proficiency in plant layout design, line balancing, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and change management capability.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD (for layout design), and IE analysis tools.
