Job Description: West Zone Head – Cosmetics Industry

Position Title: West Zone Head

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location Preferred: Mumbai

Reports To: National Sales Head and Management.

Salary Range: ₹80,000 – ₹85,000 per month.

Overview

The West Zone Head will be responsible for driving sales, market expansion, and brand presence in the western region of India. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and an in-depth understanding of the cosmetics industry to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets across assigned West Zone states.
  • Expand market share through effective distribution and channel management in all three states.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to ensure high performance across state-level operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, modern trade, and salon partners in each state.
  • Monitor competitor activities in all three states and develop effective counter-strategies.
  • Ensure operational excellence, inventory management, and compliance with company policies across regions.
  • Coordinate with state heads/area managers for smooth execution of sales plans and performance tracking.
  • Analyse sales data from all three states and present consolidated business reports to management.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of FMCG / cosmetics sales and distribution network.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
  • 10–12 years of proven experience in FMCG / Cosmetics.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a regional leadership role.
  • Experience in handling multi-channel sales (general trade, modern trade, salons, e-commerce).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80, ₹85,000.00 per month
