Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team at THE LIST, the first social commerce platform for luxury fashion. THE LIST connects professional sellers and consumers, providing a unique shopping experience. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of finance, including accounting, while mainly focused on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and various other aspects of the business. This will be a Paid 6-month internship (Remote).

Responsibilities:

·       Support the finance team in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

·       Conduct financial analysis and assist in the preparation of financial models.

·       Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.

·       Assist in the processing of refunds and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

·       Conduct research and analysis on financial trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices.

·       Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

·       Completed a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

·       Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Prior experience or coursework in FP&A is a plus.
