About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer specializing in Dispensing / Laser / Process Planning to drive process implementation, qualification, and optimization. This role ensures seamless plant operations, yield improvement, and quality compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process qualification by studying product design, executing DOE (Design of Experiments), monitoring process parameters, and coordinating with quality teams for sign-off.
  • Manage yield performance by monitoring CP, CPK, and cosmetic yield.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using 7QC, Fishbone, Why-Why, and execute corrective & preventive actions.
  • Oversee machine qualification (IQ/OQ), GRR value checks, and ensure compliance.
  • Perform data analysis & reporting: build status, LBU (line bring up) status, and failure analysis reports.
  • Develop and update SOPs, DFM documents, and process guidelines.
  • Provide on-the-job training to operators and ensure SOP adherence.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, suppliers, and customers for process improvement and technical documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: B.Tech (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics / Production) or Diploma in Engineering

  • Experience:

  • B.Tech: 2 6 years

  • Diploma: 6 – 9 years

  • Technical Expertise Required:

  • GD&T (mandatory)

  • FMEA (mandatory)
  • Process exposure in Laser Welding or Dispensing (preferred)
  • AutoCAD, NX proficiency (preferred)
  • Six Sigma certification (preferred)

Interactions

  • Internal: Maintenance, CFTs, Quality teams for process qualification and reliability testing.
  • External: Customers (updates on operations/progress), Suppliers (technical documentation/requirements).

Working Conditions

  • Exposure: Generally good, continual.
