About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Intern who has a strong interest in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks. The role involves researching industry standards, drafting high-quality content, and supporting our GRC initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical exposure in enterprise risk management while enhancing their writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on GRC frameworks, including NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and other compliance standards.
  • Assist in preparing research papers, whitepapers, reports, and case studies related to cybersecurity and risk management.
  • Draft and edit content for blogs, internal documentation, and training material.
  • Support the team in developing policies, procedures, and risk assessment documentation.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with consultants and senior team members on enterprise risk and compliance projects.

Required Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge/understanding of cybersecurity, GRC, or risk management concepts (academic or self-learned).
  • Excellent written communication and content writing ability.
  • Familiarity with MS Office / Google Docs for documentation.
  • Ability to summarize technical concepts into easy-to-understand content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Cybersecurity / Information Security / Risk Management.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Any prior experience in content writing, research, or documentation.

Duration: Internship (Part-time / Full-time)

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Stipend: As per company policy
