Role Description – Growth Specialist

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal. The Growth Specialist will design and implement scalable models for the operation and maintenance of community services, starting with piped water supply systems in tier-3 cities and rural areas. The role involves analysing real-time field data, identifying growth opportunities, and shaping strategies to expand the model to new geographies.

The Growth Specialist will work closely with field teams, local governance bodies, and community stakeholders to refine service delivery, ensure operational efficiency, and drive adoption. They will translate on-ground insights into actionable business strategies, track growth metrics, and continuously improve the model for financial sustainability and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine a service delivery model for piped water supply in small towns and rural areas.
  • Analyse real-time operational and field data to generate business insights.
  • Define and monitor growth metrics, setting targets for expansion.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve service efficiency, quality, and adoption rates.
  • Identify and test innovative approaches for scaling the model to new areas.
  • Manage projects from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Support the capacity building of local teams and partners to ensure sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting operational data and guiding decisions.
  • Proven ability to understand and adapt business models to community settings.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience in growth strategy, business development, or service delivery operations.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bhopal and travel to rural and small-town locations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Development Studies, or relevant field experience.
  • Prior work in the non-profit or community development sector is an advantage.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.
