Job Title: Junior Android Developer

Location: Wakad, Pune

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Android Developer with 0-6 months of experience, with an understanding of GraphQL and proficiency in Kotlin(preferred), to join our app development team. This role offers practical exposure to live projects, mentorship from experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications using **Kotlin**.
  • Integrate applications with **GraphQL APIs** for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android and GraphQL trends and tools.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Basic knowledge of GraphQL(queries, mutations, schema basics).
  • Strong foundation in Kotlin(Java knowledge is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Android Studio and Android SDK.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
  • Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices.
  • Problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Git/GitHub.
  • Knowledge of Firebase or other backend-as-a-service tools.
  • Understanding of MVVM or other architectural patterns.
