Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for an Android Developer, located in Pune. The Android Developer intern will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, working with outside data sources and APIs, and troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance. Additionally, the intern will be expected to continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development
  • Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including designing and building advanced applications
  • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Solid understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Relevant coursework or projects in mobile development, computer science, or related fields
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
