Collection Field Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, train, and motivate field collection officers to meet individual and team targets.
  • Allocate cases and monitor field activities to ensure effective coverage and follow-up.
  • Conduct daily briefings and review performance through reports and dashboards.

2. Collection Operations

  • Ensure timely recovery of overdue payments from customers as per the company's collection strategy.
  • Manage field visits for high-value or sensitive cases.
  • Negotiate and finalize settlement plans when applicable, within authorized limits.

3. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance.
  • Analyze delinquency trends and provide feedback for process improvement.
  • Maintain updated records of field activities and customer interactions.

4. Compliance & Customer Handling

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, fair collection practices, and local regulatory guidelines (e.g., RBI, NBFC, or bank standards).
  • Handle escalated customer complaints professionally and ethically.
  • Prevent reputational and operational risks related to field collection activities.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with internal departments (Credit, Legal, Operations) for resolution of disputed or escalated cases.
  • Support audits, legal recovery, and repossession activities as required.
