Role Overview
We're looking for a hands-on
HR Manager / HR Lead
who can own end-to-end people management for a night-shift operations team of 20–25 members. The role demands high accountability, strong communication, and the ability to build systems for hiring, training, attendance, performance evaluation, and conduct monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for operations, dispatch, and sales roles.
- Manage job postings across LinkedIn, Naukri, and internal referrals.
- Conduct initial screenings and coordinate with leadership for final rounds.
- Oversee background checks, joining formalities, and employee documentation.
2. Attendance, Punctuality & Compliance
- Supervise biometric / punching system records daily.
- Maintain attendance trackers and weekly HR dashboards.
- Escalate tardiness, absenteeism, and conduct violations promptly.
3. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Evaluate staff on parameters like: Attendance, Lead Handling, Communication, and Accuracy (20/40/20/20 model).
- Create performance reports for management every fortnight.
- Coordinate reviews and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
4. HR Administration & Culture
- Maintain all employee records and HRIS updates.
- Coordinate payroll inputs (attendance, incentives, deductions).
- Plan engagement activities, team discipline, and code of conduct adherence.
- Mediate disputes and maintain a professional, goal-focused environment.
5. Training & Process Alignment
- Assist in designing onboarding training for new joiners (recruiters, dispatchers, sales reps).
- Work closely with operations head to align HR metrics with company KPIs.
- Ensure new recruits hit performance benchmarks within 30 days.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–6 years of HR experience, ideally in a
BPO / night-shift / logistics setup
. - Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Confident with Google Sheets, Excel, and HR tools (Zoho / Keka / GreytHR / etc.).
- Strong sense of ownership, structure, and accountability.
Compensation
- ₹40,000 – ₹50,000/month (CTC) depending on experience.
- Monthly performance bonus for HR KPIs (attendance, hiring targets, compliance).
