Job Description:

We are looking for a Network & Datacenter Specialist with strong technical expertise in managing and optimizing critical airport network systems.

This role requires hands-on experience with managing LAN/WAN infrastructure, datacenter operations, network troubleshooting, patch management, and fault resolution in a live airport or similar high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support 3-tier networks (Core, Distribution, Access) including Service Aggregation and OOB switches.
  • Optimize and maintain airport IT infrastructure: AODB, CUTE, CUPPS, SBD, FIDS, VoIP, WiFi, and more.
  • Provide L2 technical support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Handle configurations, documentation, and performance monitoring of network devices.
  • Coordinate network changes, upgrades, and maintenance with minimal downtime.
  • Work with OEMs like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, and Extreme.
  • Implement and manage BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VXLAN, STP, and other networking protocols.
  • Lead and guide junior team members and support training initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in airport network infrastructure and system optimization.
  • Hands-on with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.
  • Good understanding of datacenter switching, VPNs, IPsec, and security hardening.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle critical incidents.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a high-availability environment (airport or similar).
  • Project/Change Management knowledge.
  • Prior team leadership experience.
