
Marketing Executive – Marketing Automation Specialist

The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Executive with a strong background in marketing automation, specifically within HubSpot. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns, nurturing leads, and optimizing customer journeys, with a preference for experience within the IT services or related technology sectors. This role will be instrumental in driving our marketing efforts, enhancing our online presence, and generating qualified leads to support our ambitious growth objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- HubSpot Management & Optimization:
Serve as the primary administrator and expert user of our HubSpot Marketing Hub, ensuring optimal utilization of all features (CRM, Marketing, Sales, Service Hubs where applicable).
Design, build, and optimize automated workflows, email campaigns, landing pages, forms, and lead nurturing sequences within HubSpot.
Manage and segment contact databases, ensuring data cleanliness and compliance.
Monitor and report on HubSpot performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities.
- Campaign Development & Execution:
Plan, execute, and analyze integrated digital marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social media, content syndication, paid media) to generate leads and drive engagement.
Collaborate with the content team to create compelling and relevant marketing collateral for campaigns.
Develop and manage campaign calendars, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with overall marketing strategy.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing:
Implement strategies to attract, qualify, and nurture leads through the marketing and sales funnel.
Develop personalized lead nurturing paths based on buyer personas and engagement levels.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handover and alignment of marketing and sales efforts.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
Collaborate with sales and leadership to identify target accounts and develop tailored ABM strategies.
Execute personalized marketing campaigns and content experiences for high-value target accounts.
Measure the effectiveness of ABM initiatives and refine strategies for optimal engagement and conversion.
- Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI using HubSpot analytics and other reporting tools.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of marketing activities.
Conduct A/B testing on various marketing elements to optimize performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on marketing automation.
Mandatory: Proven expert-level proficiency with HubSpot Marketing Hub (certifications highly preferred, e.g., HubSpot Marketing Software Certification, Inbound Marketing Certification).
Demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex marketing automation workflows.
Strong understanding of lead generation, lead nurturing, and demand generation strategies.
Proven experience in developing and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing best practices.
Highly Preferred: Experience working within the IT services, software, technology, or SaaS industries. Understanding of B2B marketing for technical products/services is a significant advantage.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, self-starter with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with other marketing automation platforms.
Knowledge of CRM systems beyond HubSpot (e.g., Salesforce integration).
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization
