We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead, oversee, and optimize our IT consulting and staffing operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing IT consulting services, staffing functions, and onsite teams (Developers, IT, and HR). This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a data-driven approach to operational excellence while ensuring scalability, compliance, and efficiency across business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Team & People Management

  • Lead and supervise sales, training, and onsite teams (Developers, IT, and HR), ensuring effective collaboration and performance alignment.
  • Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct regular team reviews, one-on-one sessions, and workshops to improve engagement and retention.

Operational Excellence

  • Define and monitor Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for individuals, teams, and business units.
  • Extract, analyze, and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports from ATS and project management systems.
  • Streamline and standardize operational processes to reduce redundancies and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee resource allocation, workforce planning, and bench utilization to maximize productivity.
  • Manage service delivery dashboards and ensure timely updates for leadership.

Project & Delivery Oversight

  • Ensure timely deployment of consultants and track project milestones across client engagements.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, risks, and escalations; implement corrective measures to maintain project health.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, SOPs, and compliance standards for project execution.
  • Collaborate with project managers to improve forecasting, pipeline management, and delivery accuracy.

Business & Financial Operations

  • Partner with leadership to plan budgets, control costs, and track P&L impacts of operations.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, third-party partnerships, and outsourcing engagements.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while improving delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor billing, invoicing, and payroll coordination with finance teams for consultant deployments.

Quality, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to client SLAs, compliance regulations, and audit standards.
  • Establish data security protocols and maintain confidentiality across projects and teams.
  • Conduct operational risk assessments and create mitigation plans for business continuity.
  • Drive knowledge management and documentation of all critical processes.

Technology & Innovation

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, AI/automation, and ATS/HRMS tools, integrating them into operations.
  • Lead adoption of digital transformation initiatives for workflow automation and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement dashboards and analytics frameworks for real-time decision-making.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key liaison between clients, consultants, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Deliver operational insights and reports to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage internal and external escalations with professionalism and resolution-focused communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT consulting and staffing operations management.
  • Strong expertise in managing onsite teams across Development, IT, and HR functions.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and measuring KRAs and KPIs.
  • Proficiency in ATS, project management tools, CRM, and HRMS systems.
  • Strong background in process optimization, compliance, and governance.
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
